- 1/3 Cup Honey
- 1 shot good, Tequila (not silver, gold is a better balance for the honey)
- 1 lime, zest and juice
- 2 tsp red pepper flakes
- 24 Medium shrimp, peeled, deveined
First, Combine all marinade ingredients in a mixing bowl with a whisk.
Then pour into a LARGE ziplock bag and add the shrimp. Let marinate for at least an hour.
Soak 6 wood skewers in cold water for 30 minutes (this helps avoid skewers burning).
Next skewer 4 shrimp (all facing the same way) on each of the 6 skewers
Grill on med-hi heat for a few minutes on each side, until shrimp turn pink/translucent.
Great served warm or cold over a simple salad!
